Help!

"I need somebody...Help! Not just anybody!"

OK - Now I am going to have that song stuck in my head...lol.

I am finally feeling better and I have a new bracelet to show you. I am really proud of
this piece as I made it "on the fly" out of my own head. I am really happy with the over all effect and look of the piece. But I need your help:

What would you pay for this piece? If you are a designer - what would be a fair price?

It needs a name - please help me name it.

It's a fun bracelet, with a hip & mod feel. Retro but current at the same time, very nice work!

What a neat bracelet!! The phrase that came to my mind was Floating Squares. I know, not very creative! :D

Lovely bracelet. Love the way it finally came out. Brain too hazy tonight so can't think of a name. My mind keeps coming up with streets and byeways.

I think that the design is very cool, and your execution is lovely.

It reminds me a lot of a Piet Mondrian painting, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piet_Mondrian.

If you can, you should put this quote in your description: "I construct lines and color combinations on a flat surface, in order to express general beauty with the utmost awareness. Nature (or, that which I see) inspires me, puts me, as with any painter, in an emotional state so that an urge comes about to make something, but I want to come as close as possible to the truth and abstract everything from that, until I reach the foundation (still just an external foundation!) of things…
I believe it is possible that, through horizontal and vertical lines constructed with awareness, but not with calculation, led by high intuition, and brought to harmony and rhythm, these basic forms of beauty, supplemented if necessary by other direct lines or curves, can become a work of art, as strong as it is true."

Now, because your design is more dynamic than a Mondrian, use imagery in your title. See if any of these spark your creativity.

Dancing Mondrian
Piet's Song
Abstraction Junction
Silver Square Stream

:-)

I know I kinda late commenting, did you pick a name? It's really beautiful :O)

Julie said...

No - better late then never Staci - I still haven't settled 100% on a name although there are a couple that I am leaning towards. It's all good though as I have started working on another one of these in black, purple and white - so now I will have a name for that one too.

Thanks everyone for all your wonderful comments! I appreciate them!
